Information For External Providers

Dear Vendors,

Thank you for your continued support. And if you are a new vendor, thank you for your interest and excitement in wanting to work with us.

In lieu of our work together, we would like to share with you our standards which we hope you will endeavour to embrace.

1. Our requirements for products and services will be communicated to you when the oppourtunities to work together arises. If there is a specific process, specification, drawing or work required, we will communicate that to you too. 

2. When you have replied to us with our requirements, we will provide that approval before actual work is to be started. This includes:

  • products and services
  • methods, processes and equipment
  • release of products and services

3. We will require you to have competent staff to support us. This includes providing them with the appropriate training and be qualified for the work.

4. We are very keen to communicate with you. So if you have anything that requires some form of communication or interaction, please do not hesitate to talk to us. You can even visit us if you prefer.

5. Throughout our business relationship, we will observe each other, this increases trust and confidence in each other. As such, we will be measuring your performances against our standards, and will offer you feedback when it falls below our expectation. We hope you will do the same for your own vendors, so that the industry standards will ever improve.

6. If we are required to perform verification or validation work at your premise, we will inform you of this and other requirements.

7. As and when needed, we will also require you to provide documents to support tests, inspection and verifications, in the form of, but not limited to, reports.

8. Please ensure that you have in place, the use of statistical techniques for product acceptance. If we have special instructions for acceptance, we will inform this to you.

9. As our capable partner/vendor, you will need to:

  • implement a quality management system
  • use only other vendors and processes that we approve or designated
  • notify us of nonconforming processes, products or services and obtain our approval for disposal
  • prevent the use of suspected unapproved, unapproved and counterfeit parts
  • notify us of changes to processes, products or services, including changes of your vendors or location of manufacture
  • flow down of information or requirements from us to your own vendors
  • provide certificates of conformity, test reports or authorised release certificates as applicable
  • retain documented information for a minimum of 7 years.

10. When needed, we will require the rights to access your premises, to applicable areas of your facility and to applicable documented information at any level of supply chain. This will include access for our customers and regulatory authorities.

11. Please do ensure that your capable staff are informed and aware of:

  • their contribution to product or service conformity
  • their contribution to product safety
  • the importance of ethical behavior
